Management Sciences for Health (MSH): Created new brand positioning around health systems strengthening to distinguish MSH from other government contractors. Work included new brand expression, web and social tools supplemented by a global CEO leadership “listening” tour among influencers.
AGRA (Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa funded by The Rockefeller and Gates Foundations): The development of a communications unit and brand positioning campaign to support the next green revolution in Africa. Communications work focused on clearer articulation of AGRA’s critical role in solving Africa’s food security challenges.
The Tony Elumelu Foundation and its private investment firm, Heirs Holdings: Seminal communications program and positioning around this new Nigerian Foundation and private investment firm created by the chairman of United Bank for Africa. Multi-year program casts the private sector as critical to the economic development of Africa. Positioning centers around AfriCaptialism and a commitment to Small Medium Enterprises as the primary economic drivers for Africa.
USAID: Leadership communications planning to Ministries of Health and Finance across Sub-Saharan Africa, South and South East Asia on donor and constituent communications for greater funding and political support.
The Denver Foundation: Supported the new CEO’s vision for co-creating a vibrant, equity-driven foundation – an active, campaigning organization that is a community partner and leader around DEI.
The Rockefeller Foundation: Positioning and messaging around a number of original programs including launch of the concept of Resilience, the field of Impact Investing and the uptake of a UHC resolution by the United Nations.
Vestergaard Public Health Division: Marketing communications strategy and support for this leading manufacturer of public health tools for international development. Advocacy campaign to global funders and influencers included thought leadership campaign supplemented with web and social outreach and speaking gigs. Developed messaging campaign around dual funding: Covid-19 and malaria.
Sarah Lawrence College: Reposition College utilizing its market distinctions and the unique creative voices of its faculty and alum to feed the admissions process.
The Institute for Nutrition Sciences at The NY Academy of Sciences: Articulation of a singular research agenda for nutrition to drive new scientific queries for malnutrition while assuring greater cooperation across the world’s leading scientific institutions.
New York University (NYU), Tanden School of Engineering: Leadership communications for external and internal audiences to support new leadership and administrative structure to assure continuation of student, faculty and donor support.
The Global STEM Alliance: The launch and a sustaining advocacy campaign for the Global STEM Alliance, a world-wide consortium of the private, corporate and public sectors to advance equity in STEM. Initially launched at the UN with corporate partners that included CISCO, ARM, PEPSICO; now an international consortium with 200+ members across the globe representing educational, NGO, private and philanthropic supporters

Leadership
Managing director Diane Fusilli understands the environment as well as the organizational realities that drive social good organizations. She offers a selective number of clients an adaptive, highly creative and intuitive form of communications.
She is a former Vice President of the award-winning public relations firm M Booth where she led the Public Issues Division, and previously served as a Director of Communications for The Rockefeller Foundation. Prior to that, she was Director of Strategic Communications for Management Sciences for Health (MSH), where she directed communications across 75 countries while also serving as a USAID communications consultant to Ministries of Health throughout Sub-Sahara Africa, South and South East Asia. She works as a discrete and trusted partner creating work that is culturally appropriate, audience specific, innovative and valued. She is supported by a network of senior consultants and advisors across the globe.
FC's work has been widely acknowledged. Awards include PRWeeK’s Brand Campaign of the Year, and a CIPRA Award for Outstanding Nonprofit Campaign of the Year. A frequent speaker on effective communications, Fusilli is a seasoned mentor and trainer on strategy and leadership communications.
Fusilli sits on the board of Impact Network, a global e-learning platform for primary school children in Africa, and Play on for Africa, a small nonprofit that uses the power of sports for health education.
She is married to author and journalist Jim Fusilli.
